After the successful award winning year in 2009 in serious gaming, lbx and the famous Berlin University Hospital Charité launches its research project: Gerigames.

Gerigames is a research project financed by lbx, Charité and the Medienboard Berlin Brandenburg. Its aims are to investigate the possibilities of computergaming in prevention and rehabilitation of possible illnesses and inconvenience of elder people.

Gerigames also ascertain to which extent nursing staff can be released and at the same time the quality of home care can be increased. The research project Gerigames is planned for taking place 12 months. There will be a theoretical research part as well as empiric research within elder focus groups.

SpongeBob Jellyfish Jam is a music-game for iPhone and iPod touch, which consist of three mini games, Bubble Bongo, Jellyfish Jam and Let’s Rock. The player dives deep in the world of Bikini Bottom and trains playfully the sense for music and rhythm. Highscores can be posted on facebook and can be compared to all of the friends. In the end of january lbxgames will release an update with two new mini games. Pineapple Party and Squidward Jazz will feature three new levels each and two totally new songs.

Movemaschine will be the song of the Pineapple Party Game. On this remix you can already listen to it. Be a movemaschine!
